For all new patient appointments:

- It is important to stop all antihistamines for 3 days prior to your appointment.  This includes (but not limited to):

  • All cough and cold medications
  • Allergy medications such as Benadryl, Reactine, Aerious, Claritin, Chlortripilon, Atarax, etc
  • Gravol (excluding non-drowsy)
  • Antidepressants/Sleeping medications, such as Elavil (amytriptyline), Sinequan (doxepine), Remeron (Mirtazapine) Please check with your family physician prior to stopping antidepressants/sleeping medications.
- CONTINUE TO TAKE ASTHMA MEDICATIONS (Puffers, Singulair)
- Please arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment to fill out a new patient information sheet (or you can fill it out and bring it
  to your appointment.) new patient questionnaire
- Bring a list of all medications that you are currently taking

If you have concerns about food allergies:
     - Bring  a small amount of the raw food in separate sealed containers or baggies (food is to be used for skin testing)
     -
If the food is cooked the only additives allowed are oil and salt.
     - Please bring labels (ingredients) of packaged food that you
feel may have caused the problem

- Bring an up-to-date valid health card
- Expect to be at your appointment for about 1-2 hours, please plan accordingly
- Due to the nature of our clinic, do not wear any perfumes, or bring foods to the office (unless otherwise directed), 
  as this puts our other patients at risk.

****If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give at least 48 hours notice, otherwise you will be expected to pay a $50 no show fee, payable before a new appointment is made.****
